Funding for Schools

A recent law made major changes in the way that the state allocates funding to schools.  What will you do to ensure that the public understands your local control formula for school spending and your plan to measure outcomes?

Answer from Irv Trinkle:

Continue the current excellent communications path established between the district and the community keeping all apprised of ongoing items of interest within the school district. Emails, school messenger services, robo-calls, and printed media are all used to keep the public informed on activities of interest within the district. Within those activities are information sessions conducted at multiple school sites at varied times to give the public ample opportunity to be highly informed. The LCF has been and will continue to be highly publicized throughout the total community and not just the school sites.
